We had a mom & daughter trip to St Francisville. We stayed in the new Monk haus. It was PERFECT. It has a wonderful porch and is beautifully decorated. The Inn provided our transportation to dinner. The owner, Marc, visited with us. He was so lovely. It was an amazing weekend. The Monk haus is a perfect little retreat for two! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had a delightful stay at the Inn for our anniversary. We actually live quite close by and when we decided to have a staycation this year since we've been traveling quite a bit, the St. Francisville Inn was top of my list. The Inn is beautiful decorated while being cozy, relaxed and inviting. An aire of whimsy runs through the decor which made me smile often. Our room was lovely and nicely appointed. We enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds with their moss-covered trees and around the town and taking a dip in the pool. Our dinner was truly exceptional. Chef Michael knocked in outta the park! Romano Bagette and Voodoo Shrimp appetizers. Filet Mignon and Sensation Salad main course. Blueberry Bread Pudding for desert. Everything we ordered was absolutely delish. And then there was a yummy breakfast the next morning with homemade biscuit, bacon, eggs and cheese grits. Also great conversation with other guests, both local and distant. I hated missing the owners, Jim and Brandon who were in France. But Brad, Ms Shirley, Cecile and the rest of the staff took awesome are of us. I highly recommend the Inn for overnight stays! Also enjoy a fabulous meal of the restaurant for your next night out!

Best espresso martini I’ve ever had! 2nd time visiting and be sure to ask Meagan about the best restaurants in Montreal! She knows everything there is to know.Food is top notch too. Decor is luxury at its best and they even have rocking chairs to sit for a while in front, though I don’t recommend rocking after dark! It’s Louisiana after all and bugs don’t sleep at night.

Me and my husband spent a weekend here in November 2022, everyone we met in the inn was so sweet and welcoming to us. It was a classy and elegant way to spent a weekend away from our 9-5 lives. The property itself is so immersive in its history and they have kept it up well and gorgeous. We loved walking around the property and the main house. It was so inviting to spend quality time with each other. Whether we were sitting by the pool drinking cocktails or enjoying the beautiful greenery. It was a beautiful time and we would encourage anyone or couple to spend a weekend here.
