Y2K Neon Night in the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium
April 21
To kick off their celebrations of the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium’s 20th anniversary, LASM is inviting all to attend Y2K Neon Night—a party that will throw it back to the year 2003 when the Planetarium first opened, including dancing to 2000s musical hits, a special laser light show, and neon blacklight artwork. The evening will also include charcuterie, beer, wine, and even a specialty glow-in-the-dark cocktail, which is all included in the ticket price. The proceeds from the event will all go toward the “Light LASM: The Star of BR” campaign, which has a goal of lighting LASM’s exterior in celebration of the Planetarium’s anniversary. The event is for adults over the age of twenty-one. 7 pm–9:30 pm. $50 for individuals, $90 for couples. Tickets available here. lasm.org.
