“The Visiting Room Project” Screening

Engage with the remarkable work of The Visiting Room Project, a digital experience that invites us, the public, to sit “face-to-face” with over one hundred people serving life sentences at Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, without the possibility of parole. The massive oral history project elevates the lived experiences of the over 55,000 Americans currently existing within the confines of our country’s penal system. This screening, held less than thirty miles from Angola Prison, invites West Felicianians to listen and reflect on the lives of these men. Starts at 5:45 pm. Free.
