The Military Men of Oakley

Learn about the lives of the military men who once resided at Oakley House, from Ruffin Gray who served in the Revolutionary War to Henry Lyons who served as a Major under Zachary Taylor during the Mexican American War. Alongside the history, there will be weapons demonstrations and uniform talks. 10 am–2 pm. $5 grounds fee. For more information, call (225) 635-3739.
