Remembering Alice Dunbar-Nelson: A Respectable New Orleans Activist

The Louisiana Center for the Book is hosting its first Women’s History Month event: ​a program led by author Tara T. Green titled “Remembering Alice Dunbar-Nelson: A Respectable New Orleans Activist.” Green is the author of Love, Activism, and the Respectable Life of Alice Dunbar-Nelson, which was released in January 2022 and received starred reviews from Booklist and Publisher’s Weekly. The in-person program is scheduled at the State Library of Louisiana in downtown Baton Rouge at noon.
