Of Moving Colors’ Global Movement Project

Baton Rouge’s contemporary dance company Of Moving Colors is searching for individuals to partake in a global movement project for Parkinson’s disease awareness that will take place via Zoom on June 1. Held in conjunction with OMC’s weekly Dance for Parkinson’s classes held every Thursday at Powell Moïse School of Dance located at 2016 Perkins Road in Baton Rouge, those who would like to participate in-person should arrive at 9:15 am, and the Zoom link will be active beginning at 9:30 am (available here). The choreographed dance by Rosas Danst Rosas will take place seated in a chair, allowing those with limited mobility to participate. OMC will also hold a Dance for Parkinson’s class at the NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital on June 3 at 2 pm. ofmovingcolors.org.
