LSU MOA’s Neighborhood Arts Project Pop-Ups

As part of an effort to bring arts enrichment opportunities to areas of Baton Rouge that do not necessarily have those resources, the LSU Museum of Art has created NAP: the Neighborhood Arts Project. NAP brings artists, art supplies, and special creative projects everywhere from empty parking lots to parks, offering kids a fun opportunity to create artwork while learning. Here are the places this summer that NAP will be popping up with a tent, supplies, and plenty of fun for families to participate in for free:
June 6: 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge Center (2050 N Foster Dr., Baton Rouge). 10 am–noon.
June 8, 21 & July 6: Hartley/Vey Park at Gardere (1702 Gardere Ln, Baton Rouge). 10 am–noon.
June 9: Shiloh Baptist Church (185 Eddie Robinson Sr. Dr., Baton Rouge). 10 am–noon.
June 7 & 13: New Hope Baptist Church (5856 Greenwell Springs Rd., Baton Rouge). 10 am–noon.
