Landscape Abstracted: Will Henry Stevens

Will Henry Stevens (1881-1949) is highly regarded for his tonal watercolor paintings depicting southern rural landscapes, abstractions of the Mississippi River, and other whimsical pastel depictions of nature. Works by the late naturalist, painter, and Tulane art professor; which have been curated entirely from LASM’s collection, are on display now in the museum’s Soupçon Gallery.
