Fireworks on the River

Crescent Park comes alive with live music by the Michael Foster Project and other acts all afternoon before the fireworks. It’s the only public fireworks display in Ascension Parish, and this historic little town puts on a good show. 4 pm–10 pm. Free. visitlasweetspot.com.
