Feral Cats Seeking Employment
January 1, 2024
One thing is for certain: there is a surplus of feral cats in Louisiana and Mississippi. The feline-friendly folks of the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society have been meeting with the Natchez Mayor, Animal Control, and other concerned parties to develop a solution. The result is an all-out campaign to locate farmers/ranchers looking to solve their rodent problems, and matching them with helpful cats willing to apply their sharp hunting skills in exchange for food, water, and shelter. If you or someone you know is a farmer in Mississippi or Louisiana who might be interested, text feral cat secretary Marie Gasquet at (601) 597-9350.
