Arts Festival

For the very first time, The Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (BREC) is hosting a community Arts Festival at their Baringer Art Center. This all-ages experience will feature art vendors, live artist demonstrations, creative experiences, mural painting, a sidewalk chalk art contest, and a portion of the festival devoted to “curious arts”—unexpected arts like latté/coffee art, taxidermy, and found object art. 5 pm–8 pm.
