Art for Animals Festival

Join BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo for the inaugural “Arts for Animals Festival,” an appreciation of animals and arts while bringing awareness to the significance of conservation efforts. At the heart of the festival there will be a curated exhibition of local artists’ works inspired by the splendor of animals and their natural world. Attendees will also be able to engage in educational sessions with zookeepers, art demonstrations, enjoy live music, and participate in a silent auction to support conservation projects. 10 am–4 pm. $8.75; $5.75 for children. brzoo.org.
