As it has always been, the safety and security of our guests and team members remains our highest priority. We are doing everything we can to ensure your travel safety and provide maximum flexibility as the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve. Our hotel follows all CDC and State cleaning advisories, and we deep clean all guest and public areas multiple times daily with approved COVID-19 anti-viral disinfectants. All team members are trained to disinfect continually and to handle food and drink carefully.

UPDATE:  3/21/2020:  Currently, the State of Louisiana has closed all bars and restaurants, effectively shutting us down.  The result has been an unprecedented number of room cancellations, virtually 100%.  No lodging establish can survive on 100% refunds, and we are no different.  Our goal is to survive this pandemic and re-open when the time comes, though it is becoming clearer each day that reservations, when they do return, are going to be slow at first.  As such, we are asking – no begging – our customers who have reservations with us, and who will cancel, to please accept in-house credits that they may use any time during the 12 month period following our re-opening.  This is not what you want to hear, but it’s the only way we’re going to be able to survive and keep this grand lady going.  There are thirteen families who’s survival depends upon The St. Francisville Inn.  They have all taken drastic pay cuts.  Brandon and I have suspended our pay altogether.  With your help, we will be here when this is over.  Thank you so very much for understanding.  Jim

UPDATE: 3/15/2020 4 PM CST: The St. Francisville Inn is in close contact with the Louisiana Restaurant Association. As of this time, our entire hotel remains open without any restrictions, including The Saint Restaurant and Bar. Domestic room deposits have been converted to in-house credits that may used by our guests for up to 16 months after the Centers for Disease Control has removed COVID-19 as a threat. International room deposits remain refundable.
